What Does Skin Cancer Look Like?

Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)
Basal cell carcinoma (BCC) is the most commonly reported skin cancer type and can affect people of all skin tones, though they are more common among those with fairer skin.
It typically shows up on areas that are exposed to the sun most frequently, like your face, arms, and shoulders, but BCC can appear anywhere on your body.
Look out for any areas of your skin that have raised bumps, particularly if they are pink or pearl-toned in color. The sooner you can detect BCC, the better your chances of making a full recovery, so see your doctor right away.
Squamous Cell Carcinoma (SCC)
