When you lose a significant amount of weight, such an accomplishment should elevate your self-esteem.

However, the sagging, loose skin that comes with this dramatic change can leave you with an undesirable outcome.

Pregnancy and aging are also factors that can affect your skin’s elasticity in certain areas of the body. When diet and exercise alone aren’t enough, body contouring procedures can remove excess skin and stubborn fatty deposits to improve the shape of your body for a slimmer, more youthful appearance.

Liposuction is a procedure wherein fat deposits that are resistant to diet/exercise will be removed from the body to improve proportion and body contour on various areas, including the chin, neck, back, abdomen, buttocks, and more.

Abdominoplasty, also known as tummy tuck surgery, is a procedure wherein excess fat and skin are removed while weakened and/or separated muscles are restored, in order to achieve a much smoother, more firm and tight abdominal profile.

Posterior Body Lift
A body lift removes excess skin and fat around the entire waistline, and is performed in two stages. The first stage is a tummy tuck. The second stage involves removal of skin and fat from the sides and back, lifting the buttocks, and making the lower back “rolls” smoother. A body lift does require a scar completely around the body, but the results are amazing.

Upper Arm Lift
Also known as a brachioplasty, an upper arm lift removes excess skin and fat from the upper arm and armpit. A scar from the armpit to the elbow is hidden with the arms against the body. In some cases, ultrasonic liposuction is also performed during an upper arm lift to produce a better contour.

Medial Thigh Lift
A medial thigh lift removes excess skin and fat from the inner thigh region. This procedure is often performed in combination with a tummy tuck or body lift. Scars are concealed in the crease between the leg and the trunk, and in the crease under the buttocks.

Labial Reduction
Many women choose to remove hair in the bikini area. Once the hair is removed and the labia are exposed, some women are distressed by the size of the inner vaginal lips, also called the labia minora. Enlarged labia can be seen through swimwear, and can cause intercourse to be uncomfortable. The small scars from surgical reduction of the labia are nearly imperceptible, and the patient may usually return to full activity in one month.
